Ward Perdue
Engineering Manager
Like so many in his generation, Ward Perdue had an early
introduction to computers. By 1995, when Ward finished his
Army tour, he had years of extensive, yet informal, experience
in most aspects of automation technology. It did not take
him long to learn he needed formal training, and industry
certifications, to help make his skill set truly marketable.
So Ward went back to school, using his GI benefits to complete
all the current Microsoft and Novell technical tracks. And
he was soon rewarded with an important job. He went to work
running the networks for the school he had just attended.
By the time Ward joined Welch Business Systems, in 1998,
he had added years of proven work experience to his resume,
with responsible positions at Donnelly Enterprise Solutions
and at the University of California.
It wasn't long before Ward rose to the top at Welch Business
Systems. Ward started with an extensive knowledge set and
quickly added to it. His engagements at Welch Business Systems
were varied and challenging. Today, Ward's strength in core
networking has led to a variety of hands-on experience in
all the major network technologies.
"Ward has proven his technical abilities repeatedly"
offers Don Welch, Welch Business Systems' founder and General
Manager. "But it's his intellectual curiosity that
makes him so important to us. In our business, everything
changes every day. Ward is our go-to guy when it comes to
evaluating new technology."
